Joining the nationwide celebrations of Vietnam Architecture Day, the Khanh Hoa Architects Association on 24 April solemnly held a ceremony in Nha Trang to mark the 78th anniversary of Vietnam Architecture Day (27 April 1948 – 27 April 2026).
The event offered a meaningful occasion for architects to reflect on the development of Vietnamese architecture over the past decades, while honouring the contributions of generations of architects to the country’s development and, in particular, to the growth of Khanh Hoa Province.
The ceremony was attended by representatives of provincial departments and agencies, related organisations, members of the Executive Committee of the Khanh Hoa Architects Association, along with a large number of members and invited guests. The strong turnout underscored the spirit of solidarity, professional commitment and shared responsibility of the architectural community toward the province’s development in a new phase.
As part of the celebration, the Association organised a series of practical and engaging activities, including sports exchanges, visits to building materials exhibitions, and architecture workshops. These activities created opportunities for members to exchange professional experience, update themselves on new trends, and strengthen connections between architects and the business community.
Through the event, the Khanh Hoa Architects Association reaffirmed the role of architects in shaping the development of architecture, landscape and urban space in a sustainable direction, contributing to a modernising locality while preserving its distinctive identity.
Beyond commemorating Vietnam Architecture Day, the celebration also helped spread the spirit of “Solidarity – Creativity – Green Development”, with the shared goal of making meaningful contributions to local development in the years ahead, particularly as the architecture and construction sectors continue to evolve and integrate internationally.
The programme concluded in a warm and celebratory atmosphere, leaving a strong impression on participants and opening up expectations for more practical and impactful professional activities by the Khanh Hoa Architects Association in the future.
