On the evening of July 25, in Seoul, South Korea, the Asia Architecture Design Awards (AADA) 2025 took place to honour outstanding works in architecture and design. Among numerous remarkable entries, the Đòng Đòng creative interior collection from Vietnam triumphed in the category of Asia’s Best Interior Design 2025, impressing the jury with its unique harmony of contemporary aesthetics, advanced craftsmanship, and profound cultural heritage.

The Asia Architecture Design Awards (AADA) 2025, themed “Vibrant Asia”, celebrated projects and collections that embody cultural identity, creative breakthroughs, and the potential to inspire positive community impact in the future. According to the organisers, out of more than 800 submissions from 16 Asian countries, only 110 were shortlisted for the final evaluation, and 63 exceptional projects were honoured.
According to the AADA jury: “The Đòng Đòng interior collection by Landco Corporation is a poetic symphony that celebrates Vietnamese identity, elevating interiors into vessels of heritage, rhythm, and spirit of the land. Inspired by rice grains, each design unfolds like a harvest, soft in form yet rich in meaning. Graceful curves evoke the grain’s silhouette, transforming living spaces into vivid stories of pride, memory, and belonging.
What sets Đòng Đòng apart is its balance between tradition and modernity. Artisans employ traditional techniques such as gilding, lacquer, and bamboo weaving, creating products that are authentic and warm. Meanwhile, modern silhouettes and functional versatility make Đòng Đòng suitable for both Asian and Western spaces. It is a collection that bridges past and future, art and function, cultural identity and global value”.
Beyond aesthetics, Đòng Đòng also embraces sustainability in production. LandFurniture prioritises eco-friendly materials and optimises manufacturing processes to reduce emissions and conserve natural resources, clear evidence of Landco Corporation’s commitment to sustainable development, aligned with the global movement for responsible consumption.
In addition to AADA 2025, Đòng Đòng has been showcased at prestigious international exhibitions such as Maison&Objet Paris 2023 and Salone del Mobile Milano 2024, leaving a strong impression on the global design community. The collection carries a powerful message of responsible design in the age of mass production: authentic, sustainable, and deeply cultural.
Speaking at the award ceremony, Mr. Phạm Xuân Thiết, representative of Landco Corporation’s leadership and author of the Đòng Đòng collection, shared: “This award is a recognition of the dedication of our architects, engineers, artisans, material experts, and the entire Landco team, who have worked silently yet passionately to bring every detail of Đòng Đòng to life. The collection embodies the harmony between Vietnamese cultural identity and European classicism, between traditional heritage and modern convenience.
As Đòng Đòng is honoured today, we take pride in the fact that Vietnamese cultural identity, through creativity, has left an emotional imprint on the regional design map. This is only the beginning of a greater journey: nurturing the future from the roots of heritage, opening new cultural dialogues with the world”.
Landco Corporation also announced that from the strong foundation of Đòng Đòng, the company will launch the next chapter of the collection: “Cánh Diều” (The Kite). This natural continuation flows from the boundless rice fields into the open skies, from the stillness of heritage to the soaring of dreams. While the core philosophy remains unchanged, it is elevated to a new vision: “Taking flight from the roots.”
Clearly, this marks a symbolic transformation for Vietnam’s creative interior industry, where traditional culture is reborn through contemporary design, paving the way for Vietnamese interiors to enter the global stage.
