On December 12, 2024, Thanh Hoa Architects Association successfully held the 10th Congress, term 2024-2029. The main theme of this Congress is “Solidarity – Creativity – Technological Breakthrough: Building Sustainable Thanh Architecture”.
The Congress was attended by Architect Dang Kim Khoi – Vice President of Vietnam Association of Architects; Architect Pham Thanh Tung – Chief of Office of Vietnam Association of Architects; Architect Pham Khanh Toan – Director of the Center for Development of Architectural Practice. Representatives of the Propaganda Department of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee; Representatives of the leaders of the Departments: Home Affairs; Construction; Culture, Sports and Tourism, People’s Committee of Sam Son City; People’s Committee of Thanh Hoa City; People’s Committee of Bim Son Town; Provincial Literature and Arts Association; Associations: Thanh Hoa Urban Development Planning Association; Thanh Hoa Construction Association; Ninh Binh Province Architects Association; Nghe An Province Architects Association.
The Congress approved the summary report of activities for the IX term (2019-2024) and the direction of activities for the X term (2024-2029) of the Thanh Hoa Association of Architects. The members enthusiastically discussed contributions to the development of Thanh Hoa Architecture in the new period.
Speaking at the Congress, Architect Dang Kim Khoi – Vice President of the Vietnam Association of Architects acknowledged and praised the activities of the Thanh Hoa Association of Architects, evaluating it as one of the most effective associations in the country. It is proposed that in the X term, the Thanh Hoa Association of Architects deeply and widely implement the Law on Architecture to architects, and promptly summarize and report on 5 years of implementing the Law on Architecture to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles in the practice process.
Also at the Congress, the Vietnam Association of Architects also awarded Certificates of Merit to the Thanh Hoa Association of Architects and 8 individuals with outstanding achievements and badges for the cause of architecture to 9 architects with many contributions to Vietnamese architecture.
The Provincial People’s Committee also awarded Certificates of Merit to the Thanh Hoa Association of Architects and 03 individuals with outstanding achievements.
The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the 10th term of the Thanh Hoa Association of Architects for the 2024-2029 term with 15 outstanding architects representing the following sectors: Planning; Construction architecture; interior design; landscape. The Executive Committee of the 10th term held its first meeting and elected the Chairman and Vice Chairmen. Architect Le Hong Nguyen was elected as the Chairman of the Association and the Vice Chairmen: Architect Dao Vu Viet; Architect Bui Anh Thinh; Architect Nguyen Tien Dung.
With a clear orientation, the 2025-2030 term promises to be a successful term for the Thanh Hoa Association of Architects.
