In order to find the optimal conservation and restoration plan for the Dien Bien Phu Stronghold Group, the Dien Bien Province Civil and Industrial Works Project Management Board organizes a competition to select a plan for research and sketch development to restore the project: Preservation and restoration of the Dien Bien Phu Stronghold Group.
Project information:
1. Name of the competition: Competition for Research and Drafting Plan for the Project Restoration: Preservation and Restoration of the Dien Bien Phu Stronghold Group.
2. Name of the project: Preservation and restoration of the Dien Bien Phu Stronghold Group.
3.Organization committee: Dien Bien Province Civil and Industrial Works Project Management Board.
4.Competition method: Competition for individuals and consulting organizations with sufficient professional capacity, practicing according to current law and voluntarily participating.
5.Project group, type, level of main works of the project: Group B, civil works, level II works.
6.Construction location: Thanh Truong ward, Dien Bien Phu city, Dien Bien province (De Castries bunker).
7.Competition requirements:
- Level of works: Civil works, level II.
- Scope of research, sketch construction for restoration (about 10ha)
- Investment in renovating and supplementing the area of De Castries bunker.
- Preservation, renovation, reconstruction of artillery positions and artillery bunkers; barracks, field hospitals, military medical bunkers; traffic system, traffic trench system, earthen bunkers and resistance nests, barbed wire fence system, various types of parachutes, systems of materials and equipment to create landscapes surrounding the De Castries Bunker area – the French Command Center in Dien Bien Phu…
- Other auxiliary items such as: Preservation and restoration of relic items currently displayed outdoors (cannons, tanks, aircraft wrecks…).
- Organizing exhibitions, introducing additional relics and some other related investment contents.
- Estimated restoration cost: 252,000,000,000 VND.
8.Time, location of organization and submission of application documents:
8.1. Deadline for application: From October 29, 2024 to 5:00 p.m. January 4, 2025.
Contest registration documents and contest entries must be submitted directly to the Organizing Committee’s office before the above deadline.
