In order to help architects to be qualified for the practice certificate, the Vietnam Association of Architects will organize the 8th Architectural Practice Certificate Examination on May 16-17, 2025. We kindly introduce to readers the program.
1. Objective
To help individuals who are qualified Architects to be granted certificates to practice architecture (according to the registered field).
2. Examination taker
Individuals who need to be granted a certificate of architectural practice according to the Law on Architecture 2019.
3. Time, location, content and conditions for participation
- Time: Friday and Saturday, May 16-17, 2025 (according to the list of exam groups)
- Location: 3rd floor, Headquarters of the Vietnam Association of Architects, No. 40 Tang Bat Ho Street, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi
- Examination program:
- The examination program complies with Decree No. 85/2020/CP-ND dated July 17, 2020 and the Regulations on “Program, documents serving the examination, set of questions for examination to grant certificates of architectural practice” (issued with Decision 18/QD-KTSVN dated April 6, 2021 of the Vietnam Association of Architects)
- New examination in the form of: Multiple choice test on paper and oral test by field (professional qualifications appropriate to the content of the exam registration)
- Conditions:
- Individuals with a university degree or higher in the field of architecture, with at least 03 years of experience in performing architectural services;
- Individuals wishing to take the exam must fully declare information according to Form 05 (PL III, Decree 85/2020/CP-ND) and attach a copy of their university diploma (integrated in the online registration);
- Individuals who have fully registered information and paid the participation fee (online) to the Organizing Committee before 10:00 on May 14, 2025 will receive detailed notices about the exam group via email, text message, phone or other methods appropriate to the context.
- Registration and payment will be the basis for participating in the exam to serve the issuance of architectural practice certificates.
- The detailed program of the exam group will be sent to the architects in the time before the exam. Certificates of examination results will be sent to individuals by post upon completion of the program.
4. Examination fee
- Examination fee: 500,000 VND/person for the first field and 300,000 VND/person for each subsequent field.
