On the morning of November 30, 2024, at the City Convention Center (No. 18 Hoang Dieu, Hai Phong), the Hai Phong Architects Association successfully organized the 9th Congress of the Hai Phong Architects Association for the 2025-2030 term. The congress took place in a solemn and warm atmosphere with the participation of important delegates.
Attending the congress were Dr. Architect Phan Dang Son – President of the Vietnam Association of Architects; Meritorious Artist Le Nhu Hai – Secretary of the Party Committee, President of the Hai Phong Association of Literature and Arts; Architect Vo Quoc Thai – Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Association of Architects, Member of the Party Committee, Permanent Vice President of the Association of Literature and Arts, President of the Hai Phong Association of Architects and representatives of leaders of relevant Departments, Agencies, Sectors and Units; Association of Architects of some provinces and cities (Association of Architects of Thai Binh Province, Association of Architects of Hai Duong), media agencies, Hai Phong Radio and Television Station and many members of the Association of Architects of Hai Phong City.
After the traditional ceremony and the admission of 16 new members, the Association of Architects of Hai Phong, bringing the total number of members of the Association of Architects of Hai Phong to 120 members; The Congress listened to the summary report of the activities of the Association of Architects of Hai Phong for the term 2020 – 2025. Accordingly, the Association of Architects of Hai Phong organized many seminars on architecture with comprehensive knowledge, such as: Seminar on green architecture; Seminar on smart cities (with Japanese architects as speakers); Seminar on construction facades with the theme “Construction in the Green, Circular trend”; Workshop and exhibition “Architectural heritage today and prosperity for tomorrow” …
In the 2020-2025 term, the Hai Phong Association of Architects has maintained orderly and effective operations, promptly overcome all difficulties, promoted the advantages of the previous term, demonstrating the dynamism and creativity of a specialized Association with a large number of members. The goals and tasks set by the Congress for the 2020-2025 term mostly exceeded the quantity and gradually increased in quality.
In the 2025-2030 term, the Hai Phong Association of Architects continues to focus on consolidating and building a strong Hai Phong Association of Architects; perform well the task of gathering and uniting members to create many valuable works, together with specialized Associations to complete the Resolution of the Congress of the Hai Phong Association of Literature and Arts for the term 2025-2030…, contributing practically to the cause of building a new culture of the country and the city.
The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Hai Phong Association of Architects for the term 2025-2030, including 9 architects:

- Architect. Nguyen Hoang Phuong
On this occasion, the Hai Phong Architects Association awarded 02 certificates of merit to 01 organization and 01 individual who have made positive contributions to architectural activities in Hai Phong, along with 13 sponsoring enterprises for the Congress. Also at the Congress, the President of the Vietnam Architects Association – Architect Phan Dang Son awarded certificates of merit to individuals who have made many positive contributions in the period of 2020-2025.
