In order to find an architectural plan with creative, unique, contemporary ideas and create a highlight at Thuy Van Square in the Thuy Van Street Renovation Project in Vung Tau City. Vung Tau City People’s Committee has organized a design plan competition twice in 2024, but has not yet selected a plan that is truly unique in terms of architectural ideas and artistic value. Therefore, Vung Tau City People’s Committee continues to invite the third project design competition as follows.
Competition information
- Competition name: Competition for architectural design of a highlight project at Thuy Van Square, Vung Tau city.
- Competition organizer: Vung Tau City Construction Investment Project Management Board
- Competition participants: Organizations and design consulting units on architecture and fine arts with prestige in the country and abroad, qualified to practice according to current Vietnamese law.

- Scale: nationwide
- Key deadlines:
- Competition registration deadline: From 08:00, January 24, 2025 to 08:00, February 24, 2025.
- Implementation of the plan: From January 24, 2025 to February 24, 2025.
- Application deadline: Before 16:00, February 24, 2025.
- The documents issued by the organizing unit for free to the units registering to participate in the competition include:
- 01 set of competition regulations (including competition registration forms);
- 01 set of design task documents;
- 01 set of legal documents approving project investment and competition;
- 01 Decision approving the detailed planning at a scale of 1/500 of the project construction area;
- Prizes
- 01 First Prize: 200,000,000 VND
- 01 Second Prize: 100,000,000 VND
- 01 Third Prize: 50,000,000 VND
- Up to 03 prizes after the third prize: 20,000,000 VND

The Organizing Committee encourages design consulting organizations to submit their application documents and design products directly. In case of sending via postal service, the deadline for receiving documents is calculated according to the postmark of the time of arrival at the receiving place and must notify in advance and send all digital files to the Organizing Committee via email address: duongsen81@gmail.com
