{"id":70350,"date":"2026-09-19T10:24:22","date_gmt":"2026-09-19T10:24:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tckt.vn\/english\/?p=70350"},"modified":"2026-10-03T10:25:05","modified_gmt":"2026-10-03T10:25:05","slug":"11th-international-architecture-and-urban-planning-workshop-reimagining-tho-quang-fishing-port-through-architecture-and-planning","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tckt.vn\/english\/?p=70350","title":{"rendered":"11th International Architecture and Urban Planning Workshop: Reimagining Tho Quang Fishing Port Through Architecture and Planning"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>On the afternoon of September 17, 2026, the University of Science and Technology &#8211; The University of Danang hosted the closing and review session of the 11th International Architecture and Urban Planning Workshop, themed \u201cTho Quang Fishing Port &#8211; From Fisheries to Tourism\u201d at Hall S02.01.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-70352\" src=\"https:\/\/tckt.vn\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/26A09108-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"768\" height=\"433\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Held from September 15 to 17, the workshop brought together 25 students, including 19 Vietnamese and six Japanese students. They were divided into five groups &#8211; Matcha Gumi, Poifull, Danpat, Haiboku wo Shiritai and SUMI &#8211; to study the existing conditions of Tho Quang Fishing Port, identify its potential and develop architectural and urban planning proposals for the area.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As part of the workshop, the student groups conducted field surveys to examine the area&#8217;s spatial characteristics, activities and development potential. Based on the information collected, they analyzed the site, exchanged ideas and developed design proposals under the guidance of lecturers, architects and experts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Beyond the design challenge itself, the workshop provided a setting for Vietnamese and Japanese students to engage in academic exchange, share approaches to research and teamwork, and experience collaboration in an international architecture and urban planning education environment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-70351\" src=\"https:\/\/tckt.vn\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/26A09108-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"768\" height=\"433\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the closing session, representatives from the five groups presented their research findings and design concepts developed throughout the workshop. The Organizing Committee presented awards to the selected proposals:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">First Prize: Group 2 &#8211; Poifull<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Second Prize: Group 5 &#8211; SUMI<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Third Prize: Group 4 &#8211; Haiboku wo Shiritai<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The 11th International Architecture and Urban Planning Workshop concluded not only with design proposals, but also with academic exchange and international collaboration experiences.
