On the morning of March 27, 2025, at the Hall of the District Party Committee – People’s Committee of Dong Anh district, a session was held to evaluate and select the design ideas for the project to build a modern, advanced, high-quality multi-level general school in Dong Anh district. Previously, the Council evaluated and selected 7 best quality options to present and participate in a Q&A session about the plans.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The competition for architectural designs for a modern, advanced, high-quality inter-level school in Dong Anh district was organized by the People’s Committee of Dong Anh district in coordination with the Architecture Magazine – Vietnam Association of Architects to seek creative design options, creating highlights in landscape architecture associated with local history and culture, most importantly ensuring the feasibility and full functionality of educational works, meeting the practical needs of children in the district and neighboring localities.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Organizing Committee received 15 proposals from 13 registered participants. The Council then evaluated and voted to select the 7 best proposals to participate in the presentation and Q&A session in Round 2.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the meeting, the Council listened to the 7 presentations and conducted Q&A sessions to clarify the design ideas as well as proposed solutions. The Council conducted the evaluation according to the criteria of Planning, Architecture, Technical and Economic Solutions, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. Nguyen Anh Dung – Chairman of Dong Anh District People’s Committee expressed: “Following the orientation of Hanoi City, in recent years, the district has formed many centers, including financial, cultural, medical, educational centers, especially high-quality educational centers. With that orientation, Dong Anh has focused on building standard schools. Up to now, in the district, 100% of schools have met national standards, 40% have met level 2 standards. Also from the desire of the people to have high-quality inter-level schools, meeting the teaching needs in the district, the People’s Committee organized a competition with the hope of receiving many good ideas from domestic and international architects. Dong Anh District thanks the enthusiastic response of the architects with many quality and attractive plans. Hopefully, after today’s judging session, the district will find the suitable plan for the criteria of the school, but also meet the requirements of Green – Clean – Beautiful, according to the development slogan of the district.”<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Architect Phan Dang Son – Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Architects, Chairman of the Council assessed: “The plans for the competition all clearly show the ideas, the volume of illustrative documents shows the spirit of dedicated and serious research of the consultants participating in the competition. The plans clearly show certain advantages and disadvantages, fully meeting the content of the design tasks and the regulations of the competition. In particular, there are many plans with creative ideas in terms of architectural form as well as strictness in the layout of the school’s functions.”<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
